SAN DIEGO - 'You know, in batting practice I didn't 
really feel that comfortable about my stroke today, 
but baseball is more than hitting. Then, when you're 
not trying to force a hit, you slug them in droves,' 
says <a href=p377.html>Kevin Lewis</a> after his 5 
hit game, which San Diego won 16-2 against Anaheim. 
His 1st hit, a two-run homerun off <a href=p1437.html>Jimmy 
White</a> in the 1st inning, landed an estimated 410 
feet from home plate. Number 2 in the 3rd inning accounted 
for a double. In the 6th inning he unloaded a solo 
homerun off <a href=p753.html>Pascual Arango</a>. He 
had singles in the 4th inning (one RBI) and in the 
8th . Kevin scored 4 runs, and he collected 4 RBI as 
well! This season has been a good one for him so far, 
as he has 73 hits in 224 at bats, resulting in a .326 
batting average.
